In order to create a review you need to follow these steps:
- Open the right page
- Choose who do you want to review, how and how often
- Choose who you want to give their feedback and who should be able to see it
1. Open the right page
Go to the Reviews page and click Create new review button
You will now see a Create new review modal.
On the left you can specify what you want to ask and on the right you can see a preview of what your teammates would see when submitting a review.
2. Choose who do you want to review, how and how often
Next you can type the question you want to ask.
Choose who you want to review. It can be one or many people.
Next, type a question you'd like the review to be centered around. You can use one of our recommended list of questions.
Now, pick how often it should be repeated, if ever.
And next you can choose what type of review you want to have. It can either be Summary or Public.
If you pick a Public review, the teammate who is being reviewed would be able to see all of the feedback that's sent about them as part of this review.
If you pick a Summary review, the teammate who is being reviewed would only be able to see a summary feedback. You'd need to pick who'll be writing that summary feedback though (usually it makes sense for a manager or People Ops person to do it).
3. Choose who you want to give their feedback and who should be able to see it
One last thing is to pick people involved, beyond those who should be reviewed.

And finally choose people who should be able to see the responses. Keep in mind that you should select yourself there too, if you want to keep tabs on the progress of the review.
Also, by default if the review is Public the teammate who's being reviewed will see all of the feedback about them. And if the review is Summary, the teammate writing a summary feedback will be able to see all of the feedback, while the teammate who's being reviewed will only see feedback to them.
Now, simply click Create new review button and you are done.
